With the companies publishing their last quarter reports of 2010, they had enough data to evaluate the previous periods. Accordingly, reports by Canalys company say that Google Android is ahead of Symbian among mobile operating systems.
In the last quarter of 2010, 33 million Android phones were sold against 31 million Symbian-based products worldwide. Apple appears third in this race. Because 16.2 million smartphones with iOS were sold. Following these names, RIM takes their place with 14.6 million and Microsoft with 3.1 million.
The global mobile phone market, which showed a great increase compared to the end of 2009, was a first and reached a total sales point of 100 million in 2010.
Android definitely owes a lot to LG, Samsung, Acer and HTC brands in creating these excellent results. Because the products created by these brands have achieved a perfect harmony with the Android operating system and conquered the hearts of users.
It is obvious that the Symbian steps taken by Nokia against the ever-decreasing decline are not working for now.
